Athletic Academic Advisory Program
What Steve does, and when
Five areas: athletics, academics, testing, recruiting prep, and accountability. Every family gets a written 90-day plan that says who owns what: Steve, the athlete, and the parents. Each 90 days ends with a written review, so you see the milestones before the next payment.
Days 1–90
Build the foundation
Steve: kickoff with the whole family, the 90-day plan, a school list matched to football fit and to the athlete's intended major, a camp and showcase calendar (which to attend and which to skip), a testing strategy, and monthly 1:1 sessions.
Athlete: the first highlight film, with no music and the best play in the first 7 to 15 seconds.
Parents: game film and the recruiting account.
Days 91–180
Get in front of coaches
Steve: coach outreach before each camp, so coaches know the athlete's name on arrival. Introductions where Steve has real relationships. Camp prep: what to bring, what to wear, when to arrive. A backup plan if an injury happens.
Athlete: coach emails, reviewed with Steve before they go out, and Sunday-night posting, when coaches review recruiting content.
Days 181–365
Narrow it down
Steve: junior-season film strategy, coach follow-up, visit planning with Steve on up to 2 visits, financial aid strategy, and text access in decision season.
Family: visits, the aid forms, and the final decision together.
The Game Plan delivers the first 90 days as a written plan your family runs on its own. The Six-Week Sprint finishes the profile and film with Steve. The 90-Day Cycle covers days 1 to 90 with Steve, the Season covers days 1 to 180, and the VIP Year covers all 365.
Racial stress at school tracked with feeling watched, threatened, and rejected. It did not predict fitting in or academic confidence.
02
Confidence in handling it did.
Athletes who believed they could handle racial moments fit in better, felt more capable in class, and spoke up more. That confidence can be built.
03
Being the star isn't belonging.
Strong athletic identity looked like belonging at first. Underneath, it stayed tied to being on guard about how they are seen.
What people say
"Steve, I wish there'd been a you when I was being recruited and my kids. Thanks for being the difference."
"What a resource you are for families and professionals alike."
"I love your vision and passion for the whole student-athlete and not just one part of him or her."
Questions
Before you book
Do you ever negotiate the price?
No. Every family pays the same published price. What we can change is the package and the payment plan. If the Season is too much right now, start with the Game Plan, the app, or the Solo Bundle.
Can we pay monthly?
Yes, every coaching package has a monthly plan. The plan costs about 5% more in total than paying in full, and that's shown on the page.
Who is this for?
High school student-athletes and their parents. Steve's research studied Black male athletes at predominantly White independent schools, and the program serves any student-athlete family navigating recruiting, money, and identity.
Does Steve guarantee a scholarship?
No one honest can. Steve guarantees the work: a plan, a profile, a school list, and an aid strategy, on the timelines listed under each package.
Can we try it before committing to a full year?
Yes. Start with a 90-Day Cycle. Or pay for the VIP Year in three installments, 90 days apart. Before each one, you get a written review of the milestones. If you want to stop, tell Steve in writing before the next installment is due and nothing further is owed.
How do we get started?
Book the Family Game Plan. If you move up to a larger package within 30 days, the full $1,500 counts toward it.
