Athletic Academic Advisory aspires to increase academic opportunity for highly motivated student-athletes and get them college ready to succeed while inspiring and developing the next generation of student-athlete leaders.
Our Middle School through College Placement Services include…
- Initial meeting and planning session.
- Scheduled telephone conferences.
- Assessment of current school information and other pertinent materials.
- Follow-up educational consultation.
- Guidance and support throughout the admission process.
- Discussion of educational issues such as school readiness.
- Educational presentations.
HIGH SCHOOL READINESS PROGRAM
For Rising Seventh through Rising Ninth Grade Student-Athletes
Student-athletes begin with Athletic Academic Advisory during the Summer before their 7th grade. For three summers, student-athletes attend AAA’s math classes to reinforce their strengths and enhance their areas of development, in addition to previewing content for the upcoming school year.
Students who master math fundamentals are:
- Confident
- Critical thinkers
- Efficient at processing data, and
- Thrive in STEM careers
COLLEGE PREP PROGRAM
For Ninth through Twelfth Grade Students*
Athletic Academic Advisory’s College Prep Program supports student-athletes and parents navigating the path to college. Our programming consists of the following:
- Access to college sports camps, combines, and showcases.
- Financial aid counseling
- Discounted SAT/ACT prep courses
- Individual college counseling
- Pre-college (Summer) experiences
Athletic Academic Advisory aims to match student-athletes with the right college with enough scholarships and grants (versus loans) to get them to and through college.
*Prospective student-athletes may only apply to the Athletic Academic Advisory program during their sixth grade. On a case-by-case basis, student-athletes may utilize specific consulting services a la carte for a separate fee.
